Labor Day Weekend
Labor Day Weekend was last week, but better late than never, right?
On Friday, we went to see Ben's brother, Daniel, play football. He was awesome!

We also spent time with my family at the campground.
The guys had fun playing mini-guitars.

What a ripoff! Plastic pizza:).
Beckett loved watching his dad play guitar.

Bunco!
Some of the ladies from our church play Bunco once a month. We take turns hosting at our homes. August was my month to host. I had a picnic theme.
The centerpieces also served as the prizes for the evening. My mom had received one as a teacher's gift from one of her students. There's a recipe attached for Old-Fashioned Lemonade.
This was the drink table:
Oh no! Invading ants! (My mom found them here.)

Weekend Project: Cleaning the Basement
We're so excited to have finally cleaned/organized the basement!! It was becoming this black hole that sucked in everything we didn't want to store upstairs (which was a lot:) ). Just a few more things to finish, but it's close enough to call it good...
Ben hung a shelf at the bottom of the stairs:

This is a wreath that I had made for my grandparents' apartment they didn't need anymore. I thought it fit perfectly here (and reminds me of them) :) .

New Favorite Craft
Our friends Brandon and Sarah and Kyle and Heather recently had baby girls (Hannah and Alaina). My cousin Michelle and aunt Joyce had told me how much babies enjoy "Taggie blankets". So, I found a website with instructions and decided to try them for myself. It was so much fun! I hope the girls like them!

Fourth of July Fun!
